What I love about America.
1) that I could be put on some goddamn government watch list for writing this stuff.
2) that we’re going to war against a country for no goddamn reason except that the Bush administration wants another America-friendly, secular government in the Middle East and that it’s a war that they know they can win. Remember how, at first, the Bushies were saying that Iraq had ties to terrorists? Yeah, not so much saying that anymore. Probably because there is no direct tie. Then they said that Iraq wasn’t being clear about its nuclear weapons. Does Iraq really think that there’s anything they can say at this point to avoid war?
Now they’re saying that Iraq has violated the UN so much that it’s time to get Saddam out of power. There are lots of countries that violate the UN, but you don’t see us invading them. I mean, we have confirmed, public proof that North Korea doesn’t give a flying shit about the UN or the world at large, but we’re not invading them next year, are we? Nope.
I dunno. I’m tired and hungry.
