George Carlin is a hero of mine. I’ve had the pleasure to see him live twice, in Wheeling, WV, of all places, and he always entertains with wit and intelligence. He is the greatest humorist of our time, without a doubt.

And when all of this bullshit with the FCC blew up, the AP asked him for an opinion on the matter. Unsurprisingly, he gives a reasoned one, without the knee-jerk reactionism common on both sides of the issue. As with most issues characterized by morons on both sides of long spectrums, the truth is usually somewhere in the middle.
