I really loved this book. I am a Shakespeare fan but this book wisely doesn’t dwell much on the man. A lot of Shakespeare folks online will say that it’s stupid to make the connection between Hamlet the play and Hamnet the boy, but I disagree. The point is not to produce proof of a theory (that Shakespeare wrote Hamlet as a way of processing the death of his son) but to do what literature does so well: explore the possibilities of unexpected connections.
