I am a writer first and foremost, and it shows. I can write anything, from a tweet to a magazine-length news story. I even wrote a novel! I can write for every style and audience, and I know how to use a comma.

Besides curating my own social media presence since the advent of the term (and probably before it), I managed the social media accounts of an entire University, a College and two nonprofits.

I create content for social media, websites and even good old fashioned paper. My videos have earned national awards. I have developed comm flows, media strategies, ad campaigns, and so much more.

Making things is fun, talking to people for stories is exciting, planning events is satisfying, but making decisions is the part of the job that only comes from experience. I’ve been there and I’ve done it.
